Our in-house laboratory facilities allow us to examine blood smears, swabs from ears and skin and analysis of your pets urine. We can often diagnose simple problems such as skin and ear infections during your visit, so we can start appropriate treatment immediately.

We also have onsite heartworm and feline aids testing available. Results from these tests are often available by the end of your consult, so we can start any treatment or vaccinations we think necessary on the same day.

We prefer have more extensive testing done by a professional pathologist and for these we use an off-site to a specialist veterinary laboratory in Melbourne. In many instances these results are available the same day.
